Two more tracks from Arcade Fire’s forthcoming third album, The Suburbs, surfaced today, and, thankfully, they’re far more promising than the previously released title track and “Month of May”.  Both of the newly released tracks feel steeped in gloomy post-punk – especially the throbbing, menacing “Ready To Start”.  “We Used To Wait” is, by a considerable margin, the most impressive of the four new tracks.  It plays like a brooding cousin of “Rebellion (Lies)” and displays the kind of dynamics that were sorely missing from “The Suburbs” and “Month of May”.
