A Sunny Day In Glasgow – “So Bloody, So Tight”

A Sunny Day In Glasgow‘s new EP, Nitetime Rainbows, has been on heavy rotation over here for a while now, and no track more so than “So Bloody, So Tight”.  If you’re unfamiliar with ASDIG, the Philly sextet wields their own tweaked take on shoegaze/dream-pop that has as much in common with usual suspects My Bloody Valentine and the Cocteau Twins as it does with psych-dabbling electronic acts Boards of Canada and Caribou.  Whether you’re acquainted with the band or not, “So Bloody, So Tight” is essential listening. Also, the song’s video is essential viewing.

Nitetime Rainbows is available now via Mis Ojos Discos.
